것一句话说清

족발 (jok·bal) is the pig's foot and lower leg, boiled and then braised in soy sauce with ginger until the skin goes dark and the meat chewy. Visit Korea's dish page calls it an evening dish for drinking and notes the newer spicy versions. It comes sliced, with 새우젓 (sae·u·jeot), salted shrimp, as the dip (Visit Korea's page for 오가네족발).

展开看

The street for it is 장충동 (jang·chung·dong). Visit Korea says the trade there began about fifty years ago with two restaurants and filled out in the late 1970s and early 1980s; Visit Seoul adds the reason: crowds leaving Jangchung Arena after matches and concerts stopped for a plate on the way home. 평안도집 slices its trotters on a tray and makes only enough for the day. The alley is at 175 Jangchungdan-ro, Jung-gu, about 150 metres from exit 3 of Dongguk University station on line 3.

하는 법怎么做

Order a plate for the table. 보쌈 (bo·ssam), the boiled pork, and 막국수 (mak·guk·su), cold buckwheat noodles, sit on the same menus, at 오가네족발 in Gangnam for one. In Jangchung-dong the side orders are 빈대떡 and 파전 (Visit Seoul).
