만두 (man·du) is the Korean dumpling: a thin wheat wrapper around minced meat, chives and tofu, folded and then steamed, fried until the base is crisp, or boiled in broth as 만둣국 (man·dut·guk). Visit Korea's dish page covers all three and adds that frozen ones are easy to buy anywhere in the country.
The big one is 왕만두 (wang·man·du), king dumpling, sold by the piece. At 강서면옥, the Pyongyang-noodle house in Seosomun-dong, the Korean Food Promotion Institute's reviewer found the pork-and-beef filling tasted mostly of vegetables and tofu, and paid 3,500 won each (13 November 2023). In winter the convenience stores sell 찐빵 (jjin·ppang), steamed buns, and 왕만두 hot (Visit Korea, 19 November 2025).
At a noodle house, order 만두 as the side to 냉면; at a snack shop, 찐만두 (steamed) or 군만두 (fried) by the plate. A bag of frozen ones and a hotel microwave also works.
Add one order of mandu.
