CJ's health-and-beauty chain. A green sign, a store on most busy streets, Korean skincare and make-up brands on open shelves with testers you can use. It runs a regular sale four times a year, in March, June, September and December, and since 2026 a separate one-week sale in early November it calls Black Friday.
For visitors it is also where the tax refund happens. The cashier does the instant refund at the till, from 15,000 won per receipt, and customs sets the caps per purchase and per stay.
Bring the physical passport for the refund; a photo of it does not work at the till. Discounts are by product. Check the app, or ask, for the one on what you are holding; the figure on the sign is a headline.
Four label words carry most of what you need: 수분 hydration, 진정 calming, 미백 brightening, 저자극 low-irritation.
