한강라면 (han·gang·ra·myeon) is a packet of instant noodles cooked in the machine at a Han River park convenience store and carried out to the grass. The machine is a hot plate with a water tap: you buy the ramyeon and a foil container, tip the noodles and the soup powder in, press the button and wait three and a half minutes (Seoul Shinmun, 25 August 2026). The signs matter. Soup powder goes in with the noodles from the start; an egg at the start sticks to the bottom and burns, so it goes in later.
It became a tourist stop in 2025 and 2026. Hankyoreh's report (5 October 2026) has CU's numbers from about fifty stores around Yeouido, Jamwon and Banpo parks: sales paid with foreign cards were 3.64 times the previous year's in the first half of 2026, after growth of 77% in 2024 and 115% in 2025. The best seller to foreigners was the ramyeon container itself, then banana milk, 참깨라면 and 진라면 mild. GS25's park stores saw the same curve, and its customers came first from North America, then Japan, then Europe.
Buy the noodles and the foil container at the till, then cook at the machine. Add an egg once the water is boiling, never at the start; the sign on the machine says so.
One ramyeon container and one egg.
Put the soup powder in first.
