롯데백화점 본점 (rot·de·baek·hwa·jeom bon·jeom) is at 남대문로 81, straight out of 을지로입구역 exit 7 (57 metres by Visit Seoul). Lotte's own page lists regular hours of 10:30 to 20:00, extended days to 20:30 or 21:00, the restaurant floors 10:30 to 21:00, and Monday 9 November 2026 as a closing day. Visit Seoul gives the weekly pattern: Monday to Thursday to 20:00, Friday to Sunday to 20:30, with irregular closing days to check on the website.

The Avenuel luxury wing connects to the main building through a ground-level outdoor space, and 롯데면세점 명동본점 takes the upper floors (Visit Seoul says 9 and 10; the Korea Duty Free Shops Association lists 9 to 12). Seoul Economic Daily reported on 30 July 2026 that Lotte was rebuilding the basement 코스모너지 plaza, first opened in 1988, as an 840-square-metre event space, and fitting a 77 by 21 metre media screen to the outside of 영플라자 for a December opening. Foreign customers made up about 30% of the main store's sales this year, the paper said.
From 30 October 2026 the outside is lit for Christmas as 롯데타운 드림 라이트 가든: 20,000 bulbs and a 15-metre heart-shaped tree along a 100-metre street of lights from the station to the main building and Avenuel (Newspim and Hankyung, 31 October 2026).
