수노래방 (su·no·rae·bang) is the noraebang the Korea Tourism Organization calls a landmark of Hongdae: a two-storey building at 어울마당로 67 that is nothing but singing rooms, with floor-to-ceiling windows on the front rooms so passers-by can watch people sing. A scene of the drama Hospital Playlist was shot there, and MOMOLAND did a guerrilla event for BBoom BBoom in one of the rooms.
The shop's Naver page puts it in the middle of the walking street, right beside Sangsangmadang: seven minutes from Hongik University station exit 9, five from Sangsu station exit 1. Hours are 09:00 to 06:00 the next morning, and until 09:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. It takes bookings and groups, and pays by card or phone. Phone 02-322-3111.
Walk in and ask for a room; the window rooms at the front are the ones you can see from the street. Prices are not posted online, so ask at the desk. The site is sunoraebang.com.
