것The deal
소문난성수감자탕 (so·mun·nan·seong·su·gam·ja·tang) is at 연무장길 45, 229 metres from Seongsu station exit 4, open 24 hours a day all year, according to Visit Seoul's listing, updated 31 August 2026. The Korean tourism site says it has held the same spot in Seongsu for forty years, on the ground floor of a three-storey building with an annex behind, with chairs and tables throughout.

Visit Seoul explains the queue: there are no number tickets, you wait in the waiting area and staff seat you in order, every member of your party must be present, and single diners have their own seats and can go straight to the counter. Takeaway is available; the Korean page says eat it within two hours. Parking at the restaurant costs 2,000 won during meal hours.
