하우스오브바이닐 (ha·u·seu·o·beu·ba·i·nil) in Mangwon is a café built like a living room, with records on the shelves and a turntable doing most of the work. Visit Seoul's listing says each guest may request one song, and if the record is not in the house it goes on digitally. When every seat is taken there is a ninety-minute limit.
The café describes its playlist as jazz, indie and city pop, and says the window seats look onto cherry blossom in spring. Hours are 11:00 to 22:00 every day on both Visit Seoul and Naver. The menu on Naver: americano 6,000 won, latte 6,500, filter coffee 7,500, matcha or milk tea 7,000, and a strawberry pavlova at 13,000.
It is at 희우정로16길 23, ground floor, 682 m from Mangwon station exit 2, or about eight minutes on foot by the café's own count.
Ask for your one song when you order, so choose well. Groups are fine, and dogs are allowed.
