것What it is

The hanok village between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung, where people still live. Because the crowds wore the residents down, the city designated part of it a special management zone: from 1 November 2024 visitors are asked to keep out of the red zone between 5 in the afternoon and 10 in the morning, with fines from 1 March 2025.

하는 법How to do it

Anguk station, line 3, then uphill. Keep your voice down, do not open gates, skip the tripod. Go in the morning after ten, when it is quiet and allowed.
