것The deal

From the English word fighting, said with a fist to mean go for it. The National Institute of Korean Language lists 파이팅 as the standard spelling (the loanword rules write an f before a vowel as ㅍ) and defines it as an interjection shouted to cheer players on. Almost everyone says 화이팅 anyway.

하는 법How to

Say it to anyone about to do something hard, with the same fist back. Do not say it to a cashier. It cheers someone making an effort, and a cashier is doing their job.

말Lines

Say this
화이팅!

Go for it!
